The hotel was easily accessible by road for car travellers albeit some distance from the town centre, and although the hotel is getting old it was clean and spacious, the staff were very friendly and hospitable, and the breakfast was good.

A lovely building with pleasant comfortable rooms.
We were travelling by motorcyle and wanted some time off the bikes. The location is on the outskirts of Verdun about a half hour walk from the centre. There are no dining facilities at the hotel for an evening meal. The receptionist didn't know of anywhere nearby and was unable to book a taxi. Fortunately it was a nice evening for a walk but this could have been a problem if the weather had been poor.

I recently stayed in a hotel in the Lorraine countryside, which was a perfect base for exploring the nearby Verdun battlefields. the hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, making it a peaceful place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. the continental breakfast had a decent variety of options to choose from, setting us off on the right foot for the day ahead.
One small downside was the lack of nearby bars or restaurants, requiring a short drive or walk to find dining options.

The hotel is a refurbished mansion. It is spotless, freshly repainted. This time I had a single room and the price was right for what is more like a nun's cell than a hotel room by American standards. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Good selection of foodstuff. There's no problem for parking, which I appreciate after a long drive. And the street is quiet at night.. So all in all it was an excellent stay after a busy day.
The only thing which may put off potential clients is the location, rather far from the downtown area but with a car it isn't a problem as Verdun isn't that big a town. The nearest supermarket is over a mile away. There seems to be only one restaurant next to the hotel, therefore not a wide selection of places to go to.

Room was large enough for my family and was very fairly priced. The internet was free and fast enough. Good value for money and we were comfortable
There was a very limited breakfast, receptionist not able to give basic info about the area.
